Our Beginning

In 2019, the committee was established when a group of concerned parents met to discuss the condition of the Lewisboro Town Park Playground. This group of Lewisboro residents wondered why their neighboring towns had great play spaces for kids and our town’s own Playground was under attended and in need of updating. The LTPPIC will require public participation and funding, we need lots of help from the community.

Our Mission

Our aim is to create a safe, modern and inclusive play space for children of all ages and abilities. We feel that there is a dearth of play spaces that reach beyond accessibility and offer inclusivity which recognizes and enhances the play experience of children with sensory and other developmental issues. We aim to create a safe, modern and attractive space that not only considers those with less typical development and younger children but also challenges older and more physically advanced kids.

Additionally, of great importance to our community is maintaining the natural and scenic beauty of our town. Our playground will be attractive and will blend with the already beautiful existing park.
